UK Search Awards – We’ve made the shortlist!

The last quarter of 2020 has arrived with fantastic news for the Digital Trails team. After recent client wins and embarking on a creative campaign shortly after, we are delighted to have made the shortlist for the UK Search Awards, in the ‘Best use of PR in a search campaign’ category.

The UK Search Awards are one of the leading accolades in the digital marketing industry, acknowledging the best talent and achievements in SEO, PPC and content marketing activities across the UK.

The ‘Best use of PR in a search campaign’ category celebrates the innovative mix of PR and SEO to drive results in search, through powerful media coverage and link building activity. We are extremely excited to be selected as a finalist for our “Lockdown Dad” Father’s Day 2020 campaign for leading gifts and gadgets retailer Menkind.

Bogdan Marinescu, MD and Founder of Digital Trails, shares his excitement about the nomination: ‘I am thrilled for our activity to be recognised and shortlisted in the “Best use of PR in a search campaign” category. 2020 has certainly been an interesting year, with digital agencies needing to adapt and deliver under unprecedented circumstances.

‘As PR experts, the team and myself are no strangers to working under pressure, but this year everyone in the industry has worked with added challenges. I am grateful for our clients’ continued support, and for trusting us to deliver throughout the past few months, a crucial time for every retail and e-commerce business.

‘I’m extremely proud of our team, for constantly proving their talent, going the extra mile and driving results for our clients in the most agile way. It’s incredible to see what you can achieve when you use PR in a targeted and integrated way, aimed at driving clear, measurable results.

‘Having always been a big advocate of a performance driven approach to PR, it’s all the more rewarding to be a finalist in this awards category. Despite a challenging 2020, I have seen some wonderful campaigns this year from our peers, proving great innovation and creativity.

‘I wish everyone shortlisted in all the awards categories the best of luck!’
